Bonhams: Multi-year partnership with Stafford Classic Bike Show extended

We’ve just learned that Bonham’s Auctions has just extended its partnership with Mortons Media Group (and by extension, the Stafford Classic Bike Show) – and the end result is an eye candy anyone can bid on, thanks to the renewal of Bonham’s collector’s motorcycle. Sales.

“As part of the renewed agreement, Bonhams will continue to host its biannual sales of internationally renowned collector motorcycles at the Stafford Classic Motorcycle Shows, held at the Staffordshire County Showground. In return, the auctions will be promoted across Morton’s extensive international portfolio of magazines, including Classic Bike Guide and The Classic Motorcycle, indicates the corresponding press release.

Bonhams currently has the highest sales rate in Europe, with a confirmed 93% of all bikes sold. That’s an impressive sales total of over £5 million a year, thanks to their strategic advertising, smooth website and residual partnerships.

Recent beauties sold through Bonhams include “a 1940s AJS 497cc E90 ‘Porcupine’ Grand Prix race bike, previously owned by post-war AJS works rider Ted Frend, which fetched £293,250, a new world auction record for the model, at the Stafford summer sale last year.”
