Boost for cyclists as Trinity Leeds launches free on-site bike shop
The new secure bike shop is located opposite Superdry on Albion Street and is now open and free, with space for 75 bikes.
The facility is busy and chargeable, but cyclists are encouraged to take a padlock with them.
David Maddison, Center Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “Whether you’re back at work and cycling around the city center for your commute, or want to pop in and browse some of our shops or pick up food at Trinity Kitchen, our bike shop is available to you free of charge.
The bike shop is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Trinity Leeds was recently the subject of a unique competition, run in partnership with the Yorkshire Evening Post, for one lucky business owner to take over a unit in the center free of charge for six months.
Entries will be judged on items such as: details of products to be sold in the store unit, general brand information, business plans and goals for the next five years, and how the owner will transform the space into an engaging store and provide a great experience for customers.
The winner will also benefit from the media and marketing support of Trinity Leeds and will have the opportunity to be featured on the centre’s digital screens.
The competition aims to support emerging local businesses in the city during these difficult times, with the winning brand being able to host the pop-up store between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021.
