Brown Box Theater Project Adds New Dates to Library Shakespear Tour – WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana weather

Now you can see Shakespeare’s plays all over Indiana this summer! This is thanks to the Brown Box Theater project which has now added new dates to their tour. Kyler Taustin, Artistic Director of the Brown Box Theater Project, joined us today with everything you need to know about this tour. Here is more of him.

Brown Box Theater Project, the country’s premier outdoor Shakespeare touring company, today announced that six FREE library workshops have been added to the company’s program. tene Annual Shakespeare’s Indiana Tour! Brown Box’s Largest Tour to Date Spans 3 Regions of the United States, from Indiana to Massachusetts to Delmarva, with Free Outdoor Comedy Performances A lot of noise for nothing, and a series of “Page to Stage” library workshops exploring the world and words of Shakespeare. Under the leadership of Executive Artistic Director and Co-Founder Kyler Taustin, audiences can now enjoy Shakespeare’s beloved comedy of deception, deception and masquerade LIVE and on stage, with bonus workshops for audiences of all ages , through partnerships with local libraries. Expanded Indiana 2021 Summer Tour brings Shakespeare to 8 outdoor stages and 6 library workshops in July 2021! A special workshop for 14-18 year olds will take place on Friday July 30e hosted by the Rushville Library at Riverside Park!

All A lot of noise for nothing performances are free, outdoors and open to all audiences; no tickets are needed. Social distancing through garden seats, blankets and lawn chairs is welcome. Brown Box’s extended tour will also include locations in Massachusetts (August 2021 – 13 outdoor shows and 4 library workshops!) Audiences of all ages are invited to join the Brown Box Theater Project in a captivating and exciting exploration of Shakespeare’s words and worlds, in partnership with libraries in each touring region. Starting with collaborative relationship building exercises, we will examine A lot of noise for nothing by its post-conflict scope. What happens when communities, like those in the script, start to adopt non-traditional ways of thinking? Committed to creating a safe and accessible space for different skill levels and interests, the workshops will be led by artist teacher, Surrey Houlker.
