The two-day event begins Friday at 4:00 p.m. and again Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and closes each evening at 10:00 p.m. You can find more information about the free festival on the Marysville Peach Festival website. Saturday on the American River. The race, formerly known as Eppie’s Great Race, will see athletes run, cycle, then paddle the American River. You can register for the race from Saturday through the day before by visiting the Great American Triathlon.Stanislaus County Fair Weekend Stanislaus County Fair. It runs until July 17. The fair opens at noon on weekends and closes at midnight. If you need a ride to the fair, Stanislaus Regional Transit will get you there free of charge. Woven Works Exhibition In Folsom, a variety of media, including intricate basket sculptures by local artists, are featured at the Woven Works Exhibition. It runs from Friday to September 22 at the 48 Natoma Gallery. Learn more here. Aerospace Museum displaying images from the Webb Telescope Images that have expanded our view of the universe will be on display this weekend at the Aerospace Museum of California. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, people will be able to see the first images from the all-new James Webb Space Telescope. A presentation will begin at 11 a.m., in partnership with NASA Solar System Ambassador Tim Pinkney. There will also be hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities for families. The Aerospace Museum of California is located at 3200 Freedom Park Drive in McClellan, California. The exhibition is included in the paid admission to the museum. Yolo County Family Festival Hundreds of people are expected to attend the free Yolo County Family Festival this weekend. It is hosted by United Way California Capital Region and will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Freeman Elementary School Playground. Arts, crafts, outdoor games and a resource fair are all available for families. The event will also include a school supply and book drive for Yolo County students. Learn more here. Wounded Deer Art ExhibitA Frida Kahlo-inspired art exhibit is in town and opens Saturday, just in time for the artist’s birthday. The free event runs through the end of July at the Atrium in Old Sacramento. Learn more here.Kiss Me KateIt’s the last weekend to see the Broadway musical Kiss Me Kate at the UC Davis Health Pavillion in Sacramento. On Saturdays you can watch the musical at 2 or 7:30 p.m. and on Sundays they have a final performance at 3 p.m. The musical lasts nearly three hours with an intermission. Learn more here. Stockton Cars and CoffeeEvery third Sunday of the month, dozens of cars, trucks and motorcycles gather at College Square Empresso for cars and coffee. California State Fair

Marysville Peach Festival

Peaches will take center stage in Marysville this weekend as thousands of people are expected to attend the annual Marysville Peach Festival.

The two-day event begins Friday at 4:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and ends each evening at 10:00 p.m. You can find more information about the free festival on the Marysville Fishing Festival website.

Great American Triathlon

Athletes from across Northern California are gearing up for the return of the Great American Triathlon Saturday on the American River. The race, formerly known as Eppie’s Great Race, will see athletes run, cycle and then paddle down the American River.

It’s the last weekend of the Stanislaus County Fair. It runs until July 17. The fair opens at noon on weekends and closes at midnight.
