With Halloween just around the corner, one of the scariest things that can happen to a person on the spookiest night of the year is not having plans in place.

Here are some fun options in and around the greater New York City area that may help solve the mystery of what to do on Halloween weekend.

DJ Self’s Evil Halloween Party (Saturday October 30, 11 p.m.)

Location: 450 W 31st Street

Age requirement: 21+ with valid ID

The land of zombies! A spooky experience at a Halloween theme park (Saturday October 30, 9 p.m.)

Location: Universe Theme Park at American Dream New Jersey

Age requirement: 21+ with valid ID

MoonRise: an immersive performance from a new circus (Sunday October 17, 24, 31, the show starts at different times)
