Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect following an armed robbery that took place on the North Shore on Sunday evening.

A man entered a store on the 100 block of Tranquille Road around 7:50 p.m., according to the Kamloops RCMP news release.

He then produced what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money. He then fled west towards the Overlander Bridge on a small red mountain bike with white handlebars.

The male is described as six-foot-one, medium-skinned, with a possible tattoo on his right hand.

He wore a green mask, a navy Rawlings hoodie with a white band on the arms, a black hat, black shoes and gray sweatpants.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and case reference 2022-18979.
