Family antics garnered a lot of attention over its four seasons, and while the show focused on the life of the rock star’s family, it didn’t feature Ozzy and Sharon’s eldest child. , Aimee Osbourne, now 38 years old.

While Kelly and Jack were happy to take center stage, big sister Aimee didn’t want a bar and left the family home aged just 16 when she found the cameras were coming.

She also banned her visits from being filmed and Sharon, 67, later admitted the situation had put a distance between them.

“I know my eldest daughter couldn’t live in our house because we were filming and it drove her crazy,” Sharon told her US talk show, The View.

“She also felt she didn’t want to grow up in front of the camera. She hated the idea, it was terrible for her. And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did.”

Although she doesn’t want to be in the spotlight, Aimee is now a singer and actress and recently told NYLON magazine in 2020 that she was just too young to face such an exposed life.

“That just wasn’t my aspiration. Everywhere you went people wanted to know everything, and when you grow up it can be a bit daunting,” she said.

“The idea of letting it all out at that time, around fifteen…No one at fifteen wants anyone to see how dumb their parents are.”

Aimee and Sharon stay close and are often spotted enjoying the girls’ shopping trips. But as for his younger siblings, there is no love lost.
