The Trek Bike store opens its tenth branch in Bracknell this month

A new bike shop has announced it will open in Bracknell town center later this month.

The American bicycle chain has taken over the outlet from the Winchester house, opposite Waitrose in The Lexicon.

Trek Bicycles is an American company that offers state-of-the-art bicycles and equipment for adults and children. Their range includes mountain, road, city and electric bikes as well as an on-site bike designer and builder for those who want a bespoke experience.

The doors will open to the public on February 22.

This is Bracknell’s premier Trek location, offering everything from a state-of-the-art workshop to trained experts offering assistance in finding the perfect bike.

Store Manager Adam said, “We are a very community-minded store in terms of our mindset and the way we like to interact with our communities.

“We hired 8 or 9 local people to join the team. We have a fully functional workshop, to repair the bikes, we also have a bike builder and a sales team.

“Our social media accounts are live, so people will start to see as we start doing things like group walks in the store, school walks and in-store events.

“Obviously we will be mindful of the number of people in store, but we also have a nice outdoor space here, so we’ll be having some nice outdoor events.”
